Where do we need access

We will need access to inside the home in order to record the original manufacturers HUD Date Plate / Performance Certificate. These are typically found in the master bedroom closet / laundry room / under the kitchen sink or near the electrical panel. We will need access to the crawl space of the home in order to verify the foundations. We will also need to access the exterior of the home on all sides, please make sure all animals are secure.

So What is a Foundation Certificate?

Foundation Certification

A Tie Down Certificate indicates that the foundation and tie down connections meet HUD/FHA  Guidelines for Manufactured housing dated September 1996.

Permanent Foundation Certification

A Permanent Foundation Certificate indicates that the home has not been moved since it was originaly purchased and moved from the manufacturers facility to the current location.

Addition Certification

An Addition Certificate certifies that no additions are placing any load on the structure of the Manufactured home.
